Started off my day with a 1.5 mile walk. Then, for breakfast it was my usual:
1 pouch of Better Oats
1 packet sugar in the raw
TB peanut butter
1 cup of milk
Added in a hard boiled egg
Snack - Greek Yogurt
Lunch - I'm kind of stuck in a rut. Had a grilled chicken breast in a big bowl of spring mix salad greens, TB dressing and a piece of sourdough bread toasted
Snack - Protein shake
Today has been kind of a mundane, normal day. Did two loads of laundry, took my mom to the grocery store, ran a couple other errands.
Dinner - Chris worked late, so I had him pick up dinner at the grocery store of grilled chicken, cole slaw and potatoes. Not the best, but better then other options. Chicken was overcooked.
I will be so happy to get into our own home...soon. They were priming the walls today.
Snack - four pieces of dark chocolate.
Added hard boiled egg...grin!
ReplyDeleteLast night I wanted to snack knowing I wasn't a darn bit hungry. Just bored and reacting out of habit. I used the MFP "exercise notes" to journal that...there doesn't seem to be a place to put in emotions in a lot of places. :-(
I'm finding using this blog to journal food and whats going on during the day is pretty helpful. Thinking about how much I need to lose is a little daunting, I'm hoping the journal will help me to keep it going.
DeleteMy stomach issues have improved by just cutting out the junk food...so, I guess I really need to just make this my normal way of eating.
But you know as well as I...how hard that can be!
DeleteI think it will be helpful when you talk with Diane. You'll have easy access to what you are eating and exericising. You might want to incorporate a bit more of the emotional pieces as you go...even if it's boredom. As you talk about the amount of weight being daunting, the emotional piece might help keep that in perspective. I'm impressed with your dedication to keeping up with the blog!
